Although generally only accessible to buyers by visiting a sales suite or agents office, augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) can be a highly immersive way of engaging with today’s increasingly tech-savvy buyers.
Augmented reality is the integration of digital information with the user’s environment in real time, it uses the existing environment and overlays new information on top of it. It’s delivered within a smartphone app that is downloadable to mobile devices.
VR headsets don’t come cheap and not everyone’s up for it. But they can be a smart way to allow the viewer to take a virtual 3D tour of your property before it’s built.
To our mind however, AR for selling property is still in its infancy with a long way to go. But watch this space as we continue to develop our range of VR and AR products.
